Sanli Thailand Co., Ltd. is a high-end manufacturing enterprise that is key introduced to the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) of Thailand. Its newly-built factory focuses on the production of new energy equipment and environmental protection equipment. To match the world-class intelligent manufacturing standards, the project has put forward three core requirements for the power distribution system: "high reliability, intelligent interconnection, and compliant localization".

Shanghai Zikai Electric Co., LTD., relying on its technical strength in high-voltage power distribution and overseas project experience, successfully won the bid and led the implementation of the 24kV main power distribution system construction of the factory, assisting Sanliang Thailand in building a safe, efficient and sustainable energy infrastructure.

Customized design of 24kV high-voltage distribution system

In response to the tropical climate in Thailand and the high-load production characteristics of factories, Zikai Electric has designed a double-busbar sectioning + backup power automatic switching (ATS) architecture, which includes core equipment such as 24kV gas-insulated switchgear, ring main units, and high-voltage switch cabinets, ensuring continuous production.

Adopting vacuum circuit breakers and SF6 gas insulation technology, it takes into account both miniaturization and high safety. The equipment floor space is reduced by 40% compared with traditional solutions (data example).

Dual breakthroughs in intelligence and localization

Integrated intelligent power distribution management system (IDM), supporting Thai interface operation, real-time monitoring of equipment status, power quality and fault recording, and data can be synchronized to the factory MES system.

Strictly follow the Thai TISI standard and the international IEC 61850 protocol to ensure seamless connection between the equipment and the local power grid. Meanwhile, through the full cooperation of the local team, the construction period is compressed by 30%.

Verification of adaptability to extreme environments

The equipment has passed the IP55 protection certification and can withstand harsh environments such as high temperature and high humidity (40℃/95% humidity) and salt spray corrosion. The service life of key components has been extended to over 20 years.

Reserve photovoltaic/energy storage interfaces to provide a flexible upgrade path for future factories to expand the application of clean energy.
